The Crystallinum Magnificum seed parent of this hybrid is a easy to care for giant with dark green foliage and sparkling veining. The pollen parent is a complex hybrid referred to as “MagX”. “MagX” features gorgeous emergent leaves that change color from deep red to deep green. Incredible ribs and veining with similar characteristics to King of Spades.

Anthurium hybrids are thought to be the easiest going varieties of the plant as they tend to carry on the best characteristics of each “parent”. Crystallinum x Magnificum hybrids are not naturally occurring, and are only made possible by hand-pollination. The distinct characteristics of each Anthurium will give you an idea of what a you may come to expect from this gorgeous hybrid as it matures.

Anthurium Crystallinum:
Leaves: Heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture and prominent white or silver-colored veins running across the surface.


Leaf color: The upper surface of the leaves is dark green, while the underside is a contrasting light green.
Leaf size: Mature leaves can reach a size of around 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) in length.


Petioles: The stems that connect the leaves to the main stem or root are long and usually reddish-purple in color.


Inflorescence: Produces a spadix (a fleshy spike) that is usually pale yellow or greenish-yellow and is surrounded by a modified leaf called a spathe, which can be green or whitish in color.

Anthurium Magnificum:
Leaves: Large, elongated heart-shaped leaves with a velvety texture. The upper surface is a deep green color, while the underside is a rich burgundy or maroon.


Leaf veins: Prominent veins that are white or pale green, creating a striking contrast against the dark-colored leaves.


Leaf size: Mature leaves can grow up to 45-60 cm (18-24 inches) in length, making them one of the larger species in the Anthurium genus.


Petioles: Sturdy and relatively short petioles that are usually reddish-purple or maroon.


Inflorescence: Produces a spadix that can vary in color, often ranging from green to pale yellow or white, with a spathe that can be green or whitish.
